On Thursday, Ms Bloom also told Newsnight that she has another client preparing to press charges related to the parties thrown by Mr Combs, which have been dubbed “crazy”.

“But many other people have already come forward with allegations that people were drugged, forced into sexual activity in order to do business with Sean Combs,” she said.

Mr Combs is due back in court on Friday to make a new bail application in his criminal case. Judges have previously rejected his bail applications, citing the risk of him tampering with witnesses.

Earlier this week, prosecutors alleged he violated prison rules by contacting potential witnesses using the phone accounts of other inmates.

According to the New York Times, externalprosecutors focused on a witness named Kalenna Harper, who was the third member of Diddy – Dirty Money along with Mr. Combs and Ms. Richard.

Prosecutors say Mr. Combs had 128 phone calls with Ms. Harper shortly after Ms. Richard filed her lawsuit, American media reported, external.

Ms Harper released a statement saying Ms Richard’s allegations “are not representative of my experiences and some do not align with my own truth”.

On Newsnight, Ms Bloom did not name Ms Harper but said there was a woman Ms Richard worked with who “came out publicly and basically called my client a liar”.

She continued: “The strong implication is that he persuaded her to make those statements, perhaps paid her. We don’t know.

“But that would be witness tampering. That’s what the government argued. The judge agreed, and as a result he was denied bail, which he should have been.”

However, Mr Combs’ lawyers argued that Ms Harper’s statement was “the furthest thing from witness obstruction I can think of” and was just “two witnesses who had divergent recollections of similar events”.
