The mother of the road rage victim is speaking to ABC15 after the suspect was found guilty

The mother of 8-year-old Cassidy speaks to ABC15 after Sideny Garrand, 50, was found guilty of her murder on Thursday.

Garrand, who initially pleaded not guilty in the shooting that killed Moreno, was released from prison and placed on electronic monitoring in December 2022. In February, Phoenix police issued a warrant for his arrest and a bond company is currently in the process of detaining him in Mexico, according to recent court documents.

Michelle Hernandez spoke to ABC15 for the first time after the warrant was issued for Garrand’s arrest. Now, she is speaking out again after getting justice for her daughter.
