Woman arrested for using a vehicle as a weapon

Shreveport police made the arrest Marquilla Sharpcharging her with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a dangerous incident in the 2700 block of Corbett.

On Nov. 20, officers responded to reports of a disturbance in which Sharp is accused of attempting to hit multiple people with a vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Responding officers acted quickly, taking Sharp into custody without further escalation. She was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and faces four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
