A man is suing Netflix for poor streaming quality during the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight

TAMPA, Fla. (Gray News) – A Florida man has filed a lawsuit against Netflix over streaming issues during the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight, reports say.

According to the local outlet WFLAthe lawsuit was filed Monday on behalf of Hillsborough County resident Ronald “Blue” Denton.

Denton is suing over an “unwatchable” live stream during Friday’s big fight.

Many Netflix users have reported issues with streaming. The lawsuit cites more than 100,000 online complaints.

Conformable The Hollywood Reporterthe lawsuit seeks unspecified damages on behalf of customers who had trouble watching the battle.

The lawsuit alleges that Netflix was “appallingly ill-prepared” for such a large audience.

Variety reports that the fight had 108 million viewers globally, making it “the most watched sporting event worldwide”.
