SPD Arrests Woman Wanted for Robbery, Another Wanted

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—A female robbery suspect has been arrested, but Shreveport police are searching for her alleged accomplice.

Police say the robbery happened the evening of Nov. 2 on Red Bud Lane. The victim reported to police that after leaving a local store, two women approached her, physically assaulted her and took her money before fleeing the scene.

SPD Violent Crimes Investigators identified the suspects at Shamya Taylor and Ka’Najahae Lampkins and obtained arrest warrants for both women on one count of simple robbery.

Police announced Lampkins’ arrest Thursday night, but Taylor is still being sought. SPD investigators are asking that anyone with information that could lead to her arrest to contact them at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
