Over 60 million people tuned in to watch the boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Pauland many experienced problems streaming the event Netflix. Based on the problems one man had to face due to streaming difficulties, he sued the streaming giant for $50 million.

Conformable TMZFlorida resident Ronald “Blue” Denton filed the class action lawsuit on November 18. The trial involved the fight between the two men on Friday, November 15, in which Paul won a unanimous decision over Tyson. When the fight was taking place, many people took to social media to complain that they were having trouble trying to watch the fight. Some of the complaints ranged from buffering issues to not being able to access the app.

Saying there were “more than 100,000 people complaining online,” the lawsuit stated that “boxing fans, along with ordinary Americans who want to see a legend in what would most likely be his last fight, were faced with legendary issues including no access, streaming errors and buffering issues.”

“We don’t want to dismiss the poor experience of some members and know we have room for improvement, but we still consider this event a huge success.”

Netflix announced that the fight was watched by 60 million people worldwide and peaked at 65 million simultaneous streams.

Tyson, 58, who has not boxed for several years, is more than 30 years older than Paul, 27.
