South Florida man accused of killing estranged wife in Spain set for trial Friday – WSVN 7News | Miami news, weather, sports

MIAMI (WSVN) – A South Florida businessman is scheduled to be arraigned in a Miami federal courtroom Friday morning.

David Knezevici was CHARGED last week with the murder of his estranged wife, Ana Knezevich.

According to prosecutors, he traveled to Spain after he moved there. They then claim he kidnapped and killed her in February.

He was initially accused of kidnapping her before prosecutors update the charges.

His lawyers said he plans to plead not guilty.
