Kansas City opens ‘Snow Angels’ program to help vulnerable residents

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A new program in Kansas City, Missouri will help vulnerable residents with mobility issues clear snow from their driveways and sidewalks.

The City of Kansas City is launching the Snow Angels program, which will pair volunteers with nearby residents who need help clearing areas of their home this snow season.

Snow angels and residents will be matched based on proximity. The city said when the first accumulation of at least two inches of snow arrives, the resident will be able to contact Snow Angel to schedule snow removal service.
