Man faces child pornography charges in Owensboro investigation

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) – Owensboro police say an investigation has landed a man in jail on child pornography charges.

Officers say Phillip Erb, 42, was identified as a suspect during an investigation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Authorities say they executed a search warrant at a home on Ralph Avenue Thursday morning, where they found and arrested Erb.

He faces three counts of child pornography and one count of possession of methamphetamine.
