Friends of Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is raising money for couples’ Aggie rings

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Two young Aggie parents got the surprise of a lifetime Thursday after friends and donors at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach raised enough money to cover the cost of their Aggie rings.

Esau Perez and Elizabeth Sanchez attended “Mama Club”. Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach since the end of summer.

When they found out they met the requirements to earn their Aggie rings — all while babysitting their 10-month-old son — the couple wasn’t sure how they could afford it.

Thanks to friends and donors at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, that money was raised in 24 hours.

“It just shows how much they really care about us and then how much they want us to succeed and how proud they are of us, so we’re really grateful,” Esau said.

Both Esau and Elizabeth are first generation Aggies.
