US not seeking confrontation with Russia, but will continue assistance to Kiev – Pentagon – World

WASHINGTON, November 22. /TASS/. The United States is not seeking a confrontation with Moscow, but will continue to provide Ukraine with military assistance, Defense Department Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters.

“We are not looking for war with Russia, but absolutely you will see like-minded allies and partners coming together to support Ukraine, and that is what we will continue to do,” she said.

Singh also argued that Washington, while helping Ukraine, is not trying to turn the conflict into a large-scale regional confrontation that spills over beyond the country’s borders.
