Bellingham officers stopped his car en route to the scene. During the stop, a passenger pushed the driver out of the car and took off, prompting the woman to jump out before the vehicle sped away.

At that time, police said Yadriel Rodrigues, 22, who was the original driver, was arrested.

The fleeing suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Jonavin Camacho, collapsed shortly thereafter and attempted to flee the scene. Officers quickly surrounded the area and apprehended him.

Police said the driver of the vehicle Camacho hit was taken to a local hospital with apparent minor injuries.

Both men face multiple charges, according to police.
