Uttar Pradesh Constable Recruitment: Written Exam Result Declared

LUCKNOW: Written Exam Results of UP Police Constable Recruitment The exams were declared on Thursday. A total of 1,74,316 candidates, 2.5 times the number of posts, have been shortlisted for the next stage which is document verification and standard physical test. It will take place in the third week of December.
Held under the direct supervision of CM Yogi Adityanath, unprecedented measures were taken to ensure a transparent and fair examination. Over 48 thousand candidates have applied for 60,244 constable posts in various wings of UP Police.

Big draw for 60,000 posts

The limit set for the general category in the result is: male 214, female 203; for the EWS category: Male 187, Female 180; OBC Category: Male 198, Female 189; SC Category: Male 178, Female 169 and ST Category: Male 146, Female 136.
Those selected will be called for physical test
Rajeev Krishna, Chairman UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Councilsaid candidates with these cutoff marks were included in the next stage.
“The list of eligible candidates for document verification and physical standard test has been uploaded on the official website of the Board (uppbpb.gov.in). Candidates can check their results using their roll number or exam number,” he added.
Krishna said candidates who qualify in the next stage will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) scheduled in the third week of January. He urged the successful candidates to visit the official website regularly for updates related to the selection process.
Krishna said the selection board had invited objections from candidates by publishing the question papers and answer keys for all 10 shifts of the exam on its official website between September 11 and 19.
“All objections received through various channels were meticulously scrutinized and opinions were sought from a panel of experts in the field as appropriate. After the completion of the written test, the scanning process of the OMR answer sheets was conducted with strict security measures. Security personnel and CCTV cameras were installed and 24/7 live monitoring was ensured throughout the process. Further, the normalization of marks of the candidates has been done as per the provisions highlighted in the recruitment notice,” he added.
The constable recruitment exam has been held again after the exams held on February 17 and 18 this year were canceled following allegations of paper leak.
